CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW 19TH MARCH 2017

My thanks to the officers and committee for a well run and happy show, also to my 2 excellent stewards who made my job easy with their efficient assistance.
My overall impression was that a few of the dogs were carrying a little too much weight which does not help movement and that the breed as a whole is getting larger, movement on the whole was better than when I judged last however some still move too close behind and with not enough reach in front. Eyes and pigment were very good, top lines, tail set and reach of neck also good. Teeth were mixed, but as long as the jaw is broad I can forgive this. I was very pleased with the quality of the exhibits, particularly the puppies which bodes well for the breed and I was able to find what I was looking for in the breed.

2nd Turners Tameron Mr Givenchy 11 year old gold/white, wonderful expression with the most gorgeous dark eyes, moving soundly at rear.

1st Sullivans Jacquinta Let’s Go Andy, 7 months gold/white in good coat for age moving well, good head and expression, balanced outline
2nd Herrings Quinshui Chaotic Dreamer, 7 month gold/white, good balanced outline, lovely head and expression moving soundly
3rd Moores Ashmakin Bodacious Smooth for Jaxyzu, 6 month solid gold in good coat over sound body, well balanced outline.
PUPPY DOG 7
1st Bowns Matsonic Super Icon at Bishbow 11month pale gold/white wonderful head and expression, good reach of neck, good broad chest and well set on tail over level top line, moving soundly, a lovely puppy beautifully presented.
2nd Gillkes Zeeva Zhivago,11month gorgeous gold/white, exquisite expression so typical, perfectly balanced in good coat, moving well both fore and aft, he just needs a little more time to achieve his potential, one I could take home.
3rd Grays Ragabbey Schnapps, 8month pale gold/white, moving well with a balance outline, in good coat. Good head with typical expression.
JUNIOR DOG 9 (1)
1st Maules Daltricia Mondego JW, solid black in fantastic coat over sound perfectly balanced body with good broad chest, well muscled legs, moving with great drive , handled and shown to perfection
2nd Flacks Mifcah’s Making Mischief solid gold, very sound with good broad chest, level top line, good reach of neck and well set on tail giving a balanced outline, moving out well with superb drive.

3rd Stevens Peekin Archie-Tu gold/white, so very sound on the move, level top line, good reach of neck and well set on tail giving a lovely balance picture.

2nd McCarricks Shorestar Moulin Rouge at Polmac, solid gold another very sound dog, with lovely head and expression, in good coat over well made body, moving well and giving a balanced picture.
3rd Bowns Matsonic Chasing Storms to Bishbow, black/white superb large head with typical expression, good body, balanced outline, moving out well. 3 very sound dogs

1st Cliffords CH. Zamadar Majic Potion for Cedarhythe, outstanding black/white so very sound and a joy to watch on the move he really drives from the rear and reaches from the front, wonderful masculine head and expression without being course, lovely dark eyes, good reach of neck, broad chest and good spring of rib, level top line, well set on tail giving a truly wonderful outline, presented and shown to perfection. I was pleased to award him DOG CC and BOS & RBIS
2nd Howards CH. Tameron Mr Red Edition, gold/white an outstanding dog for type and soundness, he has the most wonderful expression, typical masculine head, so well balanced with superb movement, unlucky to meet 1, but a truly worthy Champion and I was pleased to award him the RES CC
3rd Maules Daltricia Wilbur Smith JW SHCM, gold/white in lovely coat, moving soundly both fore and aft, typical expression, large masculine head which he carries proudly, balanced outline. Super class of dogs

1st Watts Snugglebum Snow Queen JW SHCM, 10 year old a credit to her owner good to see she still has her teeth, well balance outline, lovely head and expression, moving out well.
MINOR PUPPY BITCH 6 (1)
1st Flacks Shalehan Yurina to Mifcah, 7 month gold/white super puppy, moving out well both fore and aft and with such confidence, very sound body, well balanced outline, great head and expression, a really lovely puppy full of potential.
2nd Clifford/Peters Cedarhythe on the Dark Side, 7 month gold/white super puppy another moving so well and beautifully balanced, lovely head and typical expression.
3rd Crossleys Santosha Cutie Pie, 6 month gorgeous solid gold and so well named she gave her owner a hard time, but I just love to see a naughty puppy so typically Shih Tzu, she is so well made and when she chooses, moved very well, she is so full of promise.

1st Hutleys Zeeva Zafirah, 11month gorgeous gold/white, she has the most wonderful head and lovely melting expression, warm dark eyes and good nose placement and pigment, good reach of neck, moving well both fore and aft, an outstanding puppy who must have a good future which I will watch with interest. I was please to award her BEST PUPPY IN SHOW
2nd Shaws Shorestar Tango Fire, 9 month black/white, another lovely puppy, very sound, good head and expression, well place nosed and good pigment, balance outline, moving with drive, in lovely coat
3rd Willetts Qanukakira Oopzodayzy at Debeaux NAF TAF, 11 month solid gold gorgeous puppy, fantastic coat over well made body, balanced outline, moving out well, three outstanding puppies.

2nd Willaims Paliden Star Delight, solid gold very sound bitch, gorgeous head and expression, balanced outline, good width of chest, in good coat, moving out well both fore and aft
3rd Dolphins Dolha’s Step out in Style, solid gold a lovely bitch in great coat except for her top knot which it seems she has rubbed out, this will come with time to finish the picture, she is so sound and well balanced with good movement, and lovely balanced outline.

1st Granas Anyang Whispering Breeze, gold/white pretty bitch, lovely size, nicely balanced in good coat, moving out well.
2nd Stevens Peekin Miss Saffron-Tu, gold/white very sound, good head and expression, just needs a little more coat to finish the picture.
3rd Stevens Peekin Miss Souza-Tu, gold/white litter sister to above again very sound, balanced outline, again needs to finish.

1ST Willetts Konatian Reach for the stars with Debeaux, black/white gorgeous typical head and expression, sound well made body with good width of chest balanced outline, moving with great drive.
2nd Cohens Kengai Kismet Gold/br white in lovely coat, over well made body, good reach of neck, good head and expression, moving out well
3rd Morlands Shihdances Gabriele Calore solid gold very sound bitch with good head and expression moving well

1st Baldwins Zeeva Love Unlimited for Maili JW SHCM she is just gorgeous with the most wonderful head which she carries proudly, exquisite expression and melting eyes, level top line, well set on tail, moving well both fore and aft, she just demands attention, shown and presented to perfection and I was pleased to aware her Bitch CC and Best of Breed. I gather that this makes her up, a truly worthy Champion
2nd Crosslands Rosaril Guilty Pleasure at Chaela, solid pale gold, another lovely sound bitch with a lovely head and typical expression, moving out well and so well balanced.
3rd Andersons Pekoe Surprise Surprise JW, gold/white with the most gorgeous dark eyes, lovely well carried head, level top line, well balanced and moving so soundly.

1ST Howards Miss Dark Obsession, black/white another gorgeous bitch, she is just beautiful wonderful head which she carries proudly on the move, good reach of neck, level top line well set on tail giving a balanced picture, her movement is perfection and she has the most wonderful expression which demands attention, I was pleased to award her RES CC surely she must gain her crown.
2nd Somers Zeeva Shadow Dancing with Meilijo, gold/br white lovely very sound bitch in fantastic coat, well balanced outline, good head with typical expression, dark eyes, moving well both fore and aft.
3rd Zimmek Rossvale Secret Affair is Yunqishing JW, gold/white very sound pretty bitch in lovely coat, well made body moving out well.
